Fast Food Giants Reveal Annual Investment In Kiwi Produce

Although many attendees may have raised their eyebrows at seeing fast-food giant McDonald's at the National Fieldays Event in Hamilton earlier in the month, its Head of Communications Simon Kenny explains it has a deep-rooted connection to rural New Zealand.

McDonald's is a major player in New Zealand's primary sector with Kenny revealing its annual investment in local produce, including the export of over 30 million kilos of beef globally.

Kenny discusses McDonald's commitment to sustainability, highlighting its role in the New Zealand Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, the benefits of cost, convenience and taste of local produce and more.
