North Canterbury Farmers Tackle Severe Drought

Although much of the country has seen some seriously wet weather over the past few months, North Canterbury missed out on much of the autumn rain.

North Canterbury Federated Farmers Representative and CEO of the Amuri Irrigation Scheme Sara Black discusses the severe drought conditions plaguing the region, highlighting the resilience of local farmers and their commitment to their work despite adversity.

She also touches on the Hurunui Adverse Event Committee and explores whether the weather patterns are a new normal or part of historical cycles.
