Dr Bill Bishop has been a veterinarian for nearly five decades and has been hugely instrumental in starting the NZ Horse Ambulance Trust, which he was recognised for at the Impact Award at the NZ Veterinary Association Conference recently.
He talks to Dom about what the service offers, highlighting the design of their ambulances which are specifically designed to simplify the transport of injured horses.
