Rediscovering Creativity At Gullies Arts Residency

The Gullies is a 250-acre block of land owned by Richard and Laura Morrison just out of Marton that hosts a diverse portfolio of business and leisure activities.

One of which is the Gullies Arts Residency, which recently celebrated its three-year anniversary. Laura Morrison explains what exactly the Art Residency program entails, the inspiration behind its inception, how it works and more.

She discusses the blend of agritourism and artistic endeavour that defines The Gullies, along with the challenges of selecting the right artists.

Morrison also delves into the challenge of selecting the artist for their program, and what the thought process is behind the selections.
