Ripley’s Believe It or Not! denies damage to iconic Marilyn Monroe dress

Did Kim Kardashian ripley that dress? Believe it, or not… No. Not according to the museum that owns Marilyn Monroe's iconic dress.

Museum Ripley’s Believe It or Not! has denied claims Kim Kardashian damaged the historical garment.

The reality TV star turned heads last month after appearing in the skin-tight dress on the Met Gala red carpet.

It was famously worn by Monroe when she serenaded John F. Kennedy on his birthday, in 1962.

But historians claim the dress is damaged, with stretched fabric and missing crystals.

This comes off the news that Netflix released the first trailer for its Marilyn Monroe biopic.

Based on the book, "Blonde", the film charts the rise of the screen legend - from her childhood through to stardom, and tragic death.

Ana de Armas plays the main role.
