The United Kingdom has lifted interest rates for the fifth time in a row, up 25 basis points.
At the same, they warn inflation is set to 11 percent in the coming months.
And in the last 24 hours, the US has imposed its biggest interest rate hike in 28 years - up by 75 basis points.
