This Thursday, the night before the Matariki public holiday, EatNZ is hosting the cornerstone event of the 2024 Feast Matariki Calendar, the Hakari Feast.
One of those involved in the event is Base Food By Fire Chef Josh Hunter who joins Dom to talk all about the event, share some behind-the-scenes about the preparation for the food, what makes Matariki celebrations so special and more.
He also touches on his journey in the culinary world from a kitchen hand in Christchurch to a culinary innovator, specialising in fire-based cooking.
