Three years ago, 5% of Canterbury's potatoes were being lost to a disease that threatened to shut down the industry.

Now the pest has been driven off by Lincoln University researchers, including Associate Professor in Ag and Life Sciences Dr Clive Kaiser, who shares the groundbreaking strategies used to combat the tomato potato psyllid that threatened to cripple Canterbury's potato industry.

Dr. Kaiser discusses the success of integrated pest management strategies and how this innovative approach has not only benefited large-scale farmers but also offers practical solutions for home gardeners.
