Salsa dancing spider, 'high-energy' cicada and more - Australia adding over 600 new species

Our weird and wonderful bigger sibling Australia is adding 626 new species to its diverse arsenal.

Among the finds in the past year is a crab that decorates itself in sponges, a salsa-dancing spider, and a ‘high-energy’ cicada.

Dr Bryan Lessard aka ‘Bry the Fly Guy’ is an entomologist at the Australian Biological Resources Study and will speak to Tova O'Brien about these new discoveries around 8:30 am on Tuesday.
