In August 2022, Tova took an unimaginable and sobering trip to Ukraine.
There she would not only interview President Volodymyr Zelensky in the country's capital Kyiv, but travel to cities like Irpin and Mykolaiv - talking to locals and seeing the effects of the Russian invasion first-hand.
As is becoming a more regular occurrence in Ukraine, air raid sirens have been going off while Tova was in Ukraine she experienced an air raid siren first-hand, explored the bombed remains of a Ukrainian shopping centre, and saw first-hand the cities Russia invaded that Ukraine is now rebuilding.
